It is time someone sets the record straight!

I do not like to be the one to point out obvious errors in the composition of any forms of writing, but this one is long overdue.

I am not going to beat around the bush about this, so I shall get straight to the point.

"Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers."

Doesn't anyone else see the error is this tongue twister?

Peter Piper COULD NOT have picked a peck of pickled peppers because Pickled Peppers do not grow in a Pickled state! Right?

The tongue twister should be, (Peter Piper picked a peck of PERFECT peppers.

After all, if Peter Piper participated in picking peppers, preferably perfect peppers would be his paramount preference. Right?
