Stop The Madness

I walk alone through the burning field of insanity

Covered with the soot of the worlds inhumanity

Underneath my feet is a long ago crumbling bridge

Turning to dust all the things I once found sacrilege

My brain feels like it has been set ablaze on fire

I blindly walk across sanity and insanities tight wire

I can feel tiny spiders crawling around under my skin

Weaving their webs around my heart that will not mend

Ice cubes inside of my unloved heart that will not thaw

When it comes to love I am the only one who does fall

The tightly wound confusion of unexpected desperation

Gives all my senses an electric tingling sensation

Dragons fire running through my open veins

Burning wires of insanity deep inside my brain

Flesh away falling through sickness of time

Temptation pulling me over deaths dark line

Watched by staring hidden unknown eyes

What is discovered underneath truth's lies

Peeling away skin that leave scars behind

Cutting to the bone by the ties that bind

Drip the red through the air of darkness

Pain gains and remains as I become less and less

Mental floss hacks away at old memory pains

I cannot escape the inner thoughts that still remains

Another always has the love I always search to find

I always end up undiscovered alone with my tortured mind
