One simple line.

It’s so small, all I have to do is jump.

All I have to do is get the courage to run over,

And my reward would be to be able to hold you again.

One simple line.

And there you stand on the other side.

You are crying, and so alone, at least you think you are.

And here I am, hurting to know I’m not there to hold you.

One simple line.

One this side all I do is crave your love.

As I wade through a crowd of people,

All I feel is unwanted, unloved, and uncared for.

One simple line.

Four eyes tells me it’s immoral, but what do I care?

When it means...when it means…

When it means I can have you?

One simple line.

There’s nothing for me here.

Who would miss me? Who would even noticed?

You are the only one who ever noticed my existence.

One simple line.

How did you do it?

How did you have the courage, the bravery,

To do something most people only dream of doing?

One simple line.

Why did you cross the line?

Why did you cross it without me, why didn’t you tell me?

Why didn’t you beg me to jump with you?

One simple line.

I have decided.

I will jump, and I will land in your arms.

Please have them open wide, cause that’s all I need.

He crossed the line.

He jumped off the same building as she and crossed the line.

He flattened as he hit the ground, and died with tears staining his face.

He woke up to the warmth of her arms, which was all he ever wanted.

He crossed the line.

As he thought, nobody came to his funeral.

Nobody noticed he left this world and moved to the next,

But then again who would notice a lonely soul?

He crossed the the line.

There was nothing for him here.

Is there something for you here?

Will you cross the line?
