Oh the things She does

How dare She control how my emotions change?

How dare She be the one who has shown me more than I could ever imagine,

And yet, be so timid, lovely, and everything the stars and sky could be combined?

How dare the way She speaks, the way She holds herself, Her way of humor and friendship,

Make the butterflies start to fly, with no idea of stopping?

How dare She kiss me and leave me with the wanting to do so again?

She may not know how to act, or what to say, but it doesn’t stop

The tidal waves of my feelings that are in Her control

And the love I give is forevermore in Her hold.

Why change what I love,

Or continue to taunt the thought of another tomorrow together?
