Spaces of nothing

clouding up my mind

the wrongs that dwell

long to steal the rights.

Worries born in shoulder growth

nurtured by the left overs

of my hope.

Forgiveness devine

slack stained in chains

forgotten flowers of mine

still wilt in the rain.

Last overwhelming night

last day beneath a winter sky.

Give to her , the things I left out

and turn my shameful heart

back to being proud.

Take her into the sound

of love that we engorge

hand to her for the first time

the flowers that I've ignored.

Speak three words that rarely escape

now that the ordinary

has found it's place.

Is it ever too late ?

is it ever too late

to just survive

on memory's fate ?
