I used to read my stories
And remember all the times
When every bird was soaring
And all things were alright
I wished I may
I wished I might
But old grows the day
That fell behind
Soon my children will read my stories
And hear about the times
When all the birds would fly
And all were treated alike
My child if you will
Remember this forever and still
The world will only be moved
If you keep you smile in tune
If you move away from pain
If you push hate away
And never fall astray
Then you'll be happy
In your very own way
Then you can write your stories
And tell them to your family
And maybe you'll remember me
Then show your children to be happy
