Winter has arrived.

It's evey kids dream.

Every morning,

Waking up.

Rushing towards the window.

Pressing their face on the glass,

Wondering when the first snow fall would happen.

And when it does,

Their faces glow,

Hope and excitement will start to spread.

And they'll ask if they can go outside.

Their first steps in the snow are amazing.

They stop walking, and absord the cold.

And the beautiful, snow covered trees.

Then they'll run and jump in the pile of snow that had just been plowed.

And then their moms and dads will call out to them,

Telling them that hot chocolate is ready.

They'll go inside, take off their snow clothes, and rush to the table.

Chugging down the drink, they'll ask to go outside.

The answer would be no, because it's too late.

Going to bed, staring out the window,

Excitment of playing in the snow the next day will explode inside of them.

And that hope of the first snowflake if still there.
