I see red and I think of love, I see red and I think of her. Red invades my morning, noon and night. When I see red I think of her curly hair blowing in the wind and her emerald eyes glistening in the afternoon sun.

When I see red I think of my cowardice in the not telling her my truth. When I see red I cry a single tear for the love we will not share. When I see red I think of limited time we have together.

But when I see red I realize just knowing her is enough for my weak willed heart.

It is enough

it is enough
