Hilltop Memories
I sit on the hill my binoculars in hand
Looking for animals I survey the land
Sometimes I get the feeling if I look real fast I’ll see
My dad sitting in the spot right next to me
Him and I were very close
Up here in the hills is where I feel him the most
I wait for the day when his name sake I will take
To sit on the hills memories to make

A whole lot of feeling in this poem. Well done, Jack.
