A duet done by me and of course my own Kevin Adit. A love story that turned sour. A real test of love.

*GOODBYE*

PART 1

They say the grass is never greener on the other side

But I always asked why I should keep watering a dead flower

Why I should keep praying for what was never mine in the first place

While my prize was always right before my eyes

My happiness was always with someone else

But darling,

Before anyone else you swore to be by my side

To the end of times, you promised me unending love

We documented our love on snap chat,

And the rest remained history

I never asked for a superman in you.

But a lover in you, one who will see my best smiles and cries..

I'd love to say am a strong woman

But at your sight, am weak.

But we never stopped fighting

We could no longer face each other with a smile

Each night our backs facing each other we slept

I tried giving your problems an ear

But each day something new always came up

I seemed to disgust you with every word I say

But darling,

I never asked you to walk away

In both the good and bad times

We were to beat this..

It was you and I against this world..

But you chose the world against me..

You're the kind of love that came without a warning

So how do I live without you by my side??

But you always made me feel like I'm a bother

Treating me like all the other boys trying to win you over

Making me always beg for your attention

I never complained when you gave me the blue ticks

Left me cooking just to get high with your friends

Always laughing on your phone leaving me bored stiff right beside you.

For I was never enough for you.
