A bounty hunter is a person who captures fugitives and criminals for a monetary reward (bounty). Bounty hunting has historically existed in many parts of the world. However, today, it is found almost exclusively in parts of the United States, the Philippines and its former commonwealth, as the practice is illegal under the laws of most other countries.

Clint was a bounty hunter. He decided to carry on with this occupation in the United States because he didn't want to be arrested for arresting fugitives in other parts of the world. Clint was the kind of person who thought that an end justified any means. Criminals tended to share this belief. But Clint was in the other team. And that's something that really bothered the criminals to have one of them working against them (Clint was a reformed criminal).

In New Mexico Clint was a "Star in the Dust" as he hated having a shower at the end of the day. He liked to be a dusty man, it made him feel manly. But on the other side he couldn't get rid of his phobia about "Tarantula." When he saw one he couldn't even shoot at it, and would run away screaming like a girl.

After coming back from an "Escapade in Japan," he decided it would be better to be a bounty hunter than a samurai. He didn't feel comfortable with the harakiri thing. He felt more comfortable with the idea of "Never Say Goodbye."

The first fugitive he arrested was "Joe Kidd." In reality he wanted to arrest Billy the Kid because Joe was a nobody, and Clint craved for fame. Unfortunately, Billy was shot dead by Pat Garrett before Clint could even draw his gun. Clint was the opposite of Lucky Luke, the "man who shot faster than his shadow." Clint was the man who shot slower than his shadow. However, he still shot faster than Lucky Luke's shadow, and faster than Pat Garrett. So what happened this day?! He got late because his horse was slower than Pat Garrett's horse. It was always someone else fault. Clint's horse felt sorry for Clint, and promised it would never happen again.

His next victim was "The Outlaw Josey Wales." Clint made a "Sudden Impact" with "Magnum Force." Indeed, he dressed like "Lady Godiva of Coventry" and arrested Josey as they were kissing. Another time he prepared an "Ambush at Cimarron Pass" to arrest "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." A little boy who witnessed the arrest said to Clint:

"Hang 'Em High."

Clint looked surprised a little boy could say such a thing, and answered:

"For a Few Dollars More."

He knew the boy had no money in his pockets. So the boy left groaning.

When he arrested "Dirty Harry," he found someone who liked dust as much as him. They both hated having a shower at the end of the day, but not for the same reason. Harry used dirt as a disguise so that people wouldn't recognize him. Not to be manly like Clint did.

On a "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" day, Clint had to go for "Bronco Billy" who made an "Escape from Alcatraz." He bought "Two Mules for Sister Sara" and asked her to become "The First Traveling Saleslady." When Bronco bought some cigarette from her, he was arrested on the spot by Clint who followed Sister Sara everywhere.

When the sheriff of New Mexico asked him why he didn't arrest fugitives in "Kurosawa's Way," Clint told him he was not a samurai. He wanted to have "Absolute Power." To be a "White Hunter Black Heart" "Space Cowboys," not a samurai. But what's wrong with samurai?! They don't carry guns. So, "American Sniper" rather than "Letters from Iwo Jima."

When asked to arrest a "Million Dollar Baby," Clint said he couldn't. He said he had "Trouble with the Curve" of ladies. However, he changed his mind and decided to go after the female fugitive because it was for a million dollar, and because she was guilty of a "True Crime" and "Unforgiven." When he found himself facing her, she said:

"Arrest me "Any Which Way You Can."

"Every Which Way but Loose," answered Clint.

"In the Line of Fire" she sang like a "Bird" which made Clint feel like a "Breezy," "Honkytonk Man" in the "City Heat." She took advantage of the confusion to escape with a "Tightrope." She was a "High Plains Drifter" that turned Clint into "The Beguiled." She went "Where Eagles Dare." Unfortunately, Clint couldn't follow her as his horse couldn't fly like eagles.

What made Clint so special as a bounty hunter despite his failures? His mentality and self-beliefs:

"Sometimes if you want to see a change for the better, you have to take things into your own hands."

He never let anybody take anything from his own hands. He took from other people's hands, always.

"You have to feel confident. If you don't, then you're going to be hesitant and defensive, and there'll be a lot of things working against you."

The best defense is the attack. Just be careful with the counter-attack. Are we talking about some sports, or real life? Both! Real life is a sport.

"You should never give up your inner self."

What about your outer self?

"Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that's real power."

The real power is not having a big gun under your belt. The real power is everything Clint just mentioned.

"What you put into life is what you get out of it."

And what you put into your gun is what you get out of it: a bullet

"I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it."

Clint has an opinion about strict gun control policy, and it works well for him. But I have some doubts if you try to apply it at the whole country.

"There's a rebel lying deep in my soul."

Bounty hunters are loner. They don't work for anybody, and don't obey orders from above. If you are a rebel like Clint, you'll have to find a way to be by yourself.

"So, goodnight Clint. "A Perfect World" to be "The Enforcer" of the law would be a world without crime."
