In the book of life

I'm accepted.

That's why I ended registered here.

In the book of people

Am I the one selected?

I need a sign to make it clear

In the book of men

I'm the one they detected

To be a warrior, protector and comrad

In the book of women

I'm the one they suspected

To be a warrior, protector, designated dad

But in the book of love

I seem to end neglected

By some spectators

In the book of lovers

I'm not the one perfected

Not a curator of future curators

In the book of business

I'm not the voice expected

Loud, it ends unheard

This world needs shapes

That form a human forest depicted

In someone's imagination of the world

In the book of everything

I was subscribed

I had it all as perscribed

Yet I always lose something

Unscripted and undescribed

The lone in the company of the tribe
