This is a good start, very interesting. I really enjoy stories like this, and you've described it all very well. I like the main character, he is strong and a bit arrogant with plenty of potential to be humbled. I look forward to reading more. Good job!

Hey J.R.! Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. I appreciate your feedback. I hadn't realized Thorgaut came across as arrogant. I was shooting for self-confident. But I can see it now that you pointed it out. I can definitely think of a few ways to humble him and bring him down a few notches before letting him achieve his goal. This is gonna be fun.
