The Toronto Maple Leafs have done it.

Last night the Leafs won their 46th game of the season, breaking the franchise record as Toronto defeated the Florida Panthers 4-3.

Toronto also broke the franchise record for home wins in a season with 27.

Mitch Marner kicked things off for the Leafs scoring just 3:05 into the first period.

Marner finished the night with two points.

Auston Matthews made it 2-0 Leafs at 9:34, scoring his 30th goal of the season.

Patrick Marleau put Toronto ahead by three goals at 13:55.

The Panthers finally got on the scoreboard at 17:49 of the first, (period), with a goal by Jonathan Huberdeau.

 Huberdeau scored again at 15:08 of the second period.

James Van Riemsdyk put Toronto ahead by two goals again at 11:48 of the third period.

The Panthers scored their last goal of the game at 18:34.

Leaf's goalie, Frederik Andersen stopped 30 shots last night.

Andersen's counter-part, Roberto Luongo stopped 31 shots.

Toronto heads off to New York to face the Islanders tomorrow night.
