To Death.
You can look me straight into the eye
for I will feel no fear.
You don’t frighten me at all
let me make that clear.
I know there will be nothing then,
I’ll just be null and void,
The emptiness is not something
that I need to avoid.
So come pay me a visit,
Mr Reaper, Grim;
I’m telling you I’m not afraid
to go eye to eye with him.

A dark poem, Hully, but with a strange sense of resignation and liberation... come on, do your worst, I'm ready. Your words are so powerful.
Fri, March 30th, 2018 7:32pmI hear you, Hully! A great flare of defiance! When it's that time, throw the middle fingers up and take a bow. There's nothing to fear but fear itself.
Fri, March 30th, 2018 8:14pmYeah well, we were taught to fear hell Mama Hullabaloo, and nobody was sure if heaven was attainable. But my old mate Frank replied when asked what happens after death, said, 'You go rotten.' It is more likely. Usianguke
