  Jeannie

  Jeannie is pregnant, she pushes a large blowfly in a pram.

It looks so cute in its pink baby clothes, and bonnet. Its face

is smeared with jam. Its feelers are sticky from feeding on it.

  Jeannie's face is covered with acne.

  Jeannie stops at a bus stop to pick scabs from her head.

She runs her long skeletal fingers through her thin greasy hair.

  Jeannie begins snorting condoms up her nose, and pulling 

them out her mouth. People walking by stop and watch, some 

throw her coins...

- I need money for baby fomula, my breasts were chopped off

by boy scouts, and donated to the museum...

  Jeannie munches with her few rotton teeth into some bread and 

butter and fly sandwiches, and a chewy latex sausage that she

had stored in the pram. She's hungry after all the busking...

  It's getting hot so Jeannie takes off the old rags she's wearing 

as clothes. She's got Francis Bacon paintings tattoed all over 

her rainbow skin. She yells out to someone...

- I'll suck the warts off your skin for some heroin, or gin!

  I go and talk to to Jeannie, and tell her to leave her pram for 

someone else. I tell her to come back to my place. Jeannie

gives me a toothless grin...

- Okay!

  We stretch out on the grass behind the art gallery. The day 

grows long and is gone. We share a glass or two. Jeannie

reaches out her arm, her hand, and turns off the moon, so

that we can make love beneath the stars. When we're done

I pour her back into the bottle, and search the rubbish bins

for scraps to eat.
