Who is it”? “Mailman”. I opened the door a bit bewildered. “Package delivery for an Amante”. “Yeah, that's me”. “Can I get your signature of acceptance for this package sir”? Uhm sure” I signed off for the mysterious package unsure of exactly who the sender could be. “Thank you sir, have a great day”. “Yeah, you too”. I walked back inside and headed to my bedroom, still mystified by the unexpected package. I sat the box upon my bed still determining it’s possible contents. I surveyed the entire surface of the box for a name or sender’s address, strangely enough there wasn't neither to be found. I opened the box and inside contained a letter and a smaller box. The letter read, ”Friend you may be wondering where this package is from and why I've chosen to keep my identity a secret. The best comparison for life is a storm, before destruction everything is relatively calm. The storm comes for you, inside the smaller box is your eternal damnation if you seek salvation. The moonlight will always be a mirage”. I opened the smaller box to find a pill within. Overwhelmed and confused I restricted the package to a barren part of my closet and retreated to go take a shower. I returned to my bedroom and lazily collapsed in my bed. Darkness stretched throughout my room completely embodying every object. The darkness seeped deep within me numbing all conscious feelings, controlling my body like a vessel and filling me with voids. Suddenly sleep arrives.
