The kissing scorch branded gentle marks on my cheeks

Blotted freckles forcefully pierced and tweaked

The roads felt like licked by the fierce tongues of the sky

The waters on the ground gurgled and did sigh!

Joyful, warm and mellifluous like birds humming

Summer Rain did not announce its coming

Tearing the shawl we were wrapped in

Tiny little drops showered, tapped and grinned!

Splashes did mean as if composing a romantic song

For Summer Rain it was all perfect, nothing seemed wrong

Every creature on the earth rejoiced, joined the water

Birds’ hum, prayer’s call, children’s titter and totter!

Brought a song that didn’t need the piano or guitar

A warm embrace of mists did leave a turquoise scar

Clouds felt like candy floss scattered all around

Occupying the Big Blue cosmos and the ground!

Velvety pecks of the Summer Rain’s breeze wafted in

Bringing the tiny balloons of snow as their kith and kin

Flowers’ fragrance felt as if procured from the Deer’s

Sweet-smelling and perfumed seemed the whole sphere!

in a den

With a silent warning letter of its appearance again

silently wiped out by the screaming heat

Water from the floors, freckles from the cheeks and wetness of walls

Could not even argue nor could they beat!
