HOW CAN I KEEP FROM WRITING
When nights are dark without the stars, And my soul is left with just the scars. When my mind is hunted by memories, And my world in fluke and treacheries.
When the light is left to die, And feelings begin to lie. Then my heart is sunk in fears, Cos' my lids are drown in tears.
When the heart is small and the room seem bigger, Cos' the distance is tall and silence weeps louder. When loneliness becomes a friend, And sadness entertains to the end.
When the past is walked in fearful digress, And the mind is torn in tearful redress. So will my thoughts wallow in regret, Though mutual, something like the cattle's egret.
When pain becomes the story, And I live all my life to tell it's glory. When love becomes a stranger, And words begin to flutter.
Then my pen becomes a bridge of words, The bridge that links my soul to the world.
How can I keep from writing, When every line carries my feeling.
