Looking out across the infinite city of pain
The city of tears and sleepless affliction
Hearing the voice that shake my conviction
Get me time machine to back in time
To convince myself it was a stage act
Why? Why?
Was I not Romeo enough to you?
Or was it because of the fissure in my heart?
And don’t tell me it was a mistake
The music and the dance betrayed you
When rays and the winds cried on my laps
Why? Why?
Grieving ourselves in the street of agony
While at least we agreed on one entity
Nature had played a trick on us
And one day we shall seek our vengeance
But till then I’m in the infinite city of pain.
