Through And Through

When did your soul become much darker?

When did your soul become much darker?

Would there be a problem... If I told you all that lies behind me?

All the thoughts I never faced; all I kept hiding from you?

It seems like my head became a broken field of broken hopes

Forgive me if lately I’ve been walking on the tightropes

The incredible need of you is one thing that I can’t camouflage

But you don’t know how much you hurt when you don’t take heed

For no reason whatsoever I feel like a bird in a cage

I’m unable to say there are boundaries you exceed

If you’re not careful, I’ll forgive you

Nor cheerful, I’ll forgive you

But that’s the only thing I never want to have to do

If you’re not careful, I"ll forgive you

Nor cheerful, I will forgive you

Then, never disappoint me through and through

Now, would it be a big deal if I told you what’s inside my head?

Despite I want to be with you, I’m afraid of what lies ahead

Even though music is meaningful when you are around

I can’t help but to think I’m still afraid not to be sound

There is some dust you never noticed in your visions of future

But when the dust is piled, who is going to suture

Our shattered dreams and expectations that would all be lost?

Forgive me but sometimes I feel the incremental cost

I was just wondering

When did your soul become much darker?

Because I never knew

When did your soul become much darker?

I know, I know there are many people that you abhor

And when you’re slurring them, I do understand even more

But may you tell me when you became such a slanderer?

When I read your words, all turned into a disaster.
