Her Truth
The problem child is what they call her,
not really knowing the pain that's inside her,
not really understanding why she acts the way she does.
She soul searches to find the thing people call love.
It's nowhere to be found so she drowns herself in tears,
and so she copes with sex and drugs.
There was never those tight and meaningful hugs.
She's no charity case she doesn't asks for handouts but yet she's complacent with the life she's made for herself.
No rules, no regulations she doesn't know what's next is utter devastation.
Head full of doubt so she sits up at night and wonders if someone will ever wander into her life and fill the hole that's been missing but thats to big of a sacrifice.
She hugs her pillow tight in hopes someone might hear her cries, but they won't get the chance to listen in that bed is where her life resides cold and silent.

Perfectly captures the problem of being misunderstood. A powerful emotional read.

I like this piece, it's told in its raw and purest element. Nice, Sonia.
