Mama don’t go, please don’t go
Hear my pleas, I am but a child
I need your love, or I’ll go wild
I need your warm embrace, oh
Warm kisses, safe hugs, my shoe
You are the most beautiful mama
When I grow up I’ll marry mama
Don’t leave me be, take me too
For I want you, only you, just you
Nights are cold I am scared stiff
Bogeyman comes, big mastiff
Little teddy wants mama too
I promise I’ll be good forever
I’ll eat my greens and jelly beans
I won’t wet the bed, no ice-cream
Say you won’t go, say never
There’s nobody to pat me to sleep
Nobody there to hug me at night
Nobody there when I’m in fright
Nobody’s love for me to keep
Mama please say you love me
Mama please say you will stay
Today and every other day
Mama see me, please look at me
I am pleading, on my knees
Mama don’t go, please don’t go
I can’t live a day without you, no
Hear my pleas, please hear my pleas
