From stream to peak , my travel is endured

accumulating the altitude pressure, longing to find the proper air to breathe.

I can see the tar black chimney smoke

spying on a lost man from over the evergreens .

As if out of curiosity to study the unknown

without giving up it's location.

I can only feel the warmth of your embrace

In my dreamy mind.

I walk through this never ending forrest

following the sight and smell of your chimney smoke,

Hoping the fire that created it was

ignited by an old romance that belonged to you and I.

I stand with honor , face forward in the endless natural disasters of earth and life

holding on to this love that always were to be

deep down inside of my heart and soul.

I sit upon the final ridge of separation

gazing down at hundreds of feet and empty air ,

wondering if this sacrifice would be worth

the reward if I were to live or die .

I sigh with eagerness and anticipation

as I focus my destination in this marksman of a crossbow heart.

Closing my eyes, only to feel your tender hand brushing against my face

listening to the sound of your breathing in my ear.

My answer had been revealed. .
