Brush dripping with melancholic blue

a sole portrait that many mistake

for anyone but you.

A hidden expression of grief

behind hair pulled down over a frowning smile.

Your heart can tell you who you are

a witness of your circumstance

nor a falling judgement star of an eye's first glance.

Similar souls in the mist

siamese twins connected at the wrist,

Unidentified of what we can't dismiss.

Eyes gushing indigo tears

filling the emotional river

of what is clear.

Sun radiating the beams of warmth and love

basking in the tragic heat of outcasts and grunge.

Two humble beings that others have mislead

unidentifed as fireplace ashes

left by time , cold, and dead.

Yet, with every bolt in every storm

and with every flash of short brief light ,

In this home lightning ignites

what is dead inside.

Brush dripping with melancholic blue

a sole portrait that many mistake

as the cold hearted truth..
