On The Shores Of The Trumpapinocchio

The tranquil waters of Trumpapinocchio seems perfect place,

for the peaceful waters to hide the truth from his base,

and it's delusional waves lap gently and tell a happy tale,

that everything's perfect, that there's no such thing as fail.

But it's deceptive waters hide creatures slimy and cold,

who lie with second nature, so audacious and bold.

And they're dangerous, care only about themselves,

and under it's calm surface, horrible dwells.

Disguised as a pond of plenty, it's really a swamp that overflows,

it's almost as if he's filling it with a crooked garden hose.

One night soon the dam that's already partially given way

will burst and a raging torrent of dirty water will have it's say,

rush downstream where the villagers sleep, unaware,

and too late they'll understand that he really doesn't care.
