The smell of blue denim

and the cattle winds

harmonica sings like

John Wayne

Nashville won't be quiet

tonight

the boys fighting

a hell of a fight

Bison, steer, cattle dogs

salivating on a thin dime

time to rope up the big ones

that got away

steer meat, thick grilling

for Heaven's taste of bliss

a face of a warm dog

such a boysish kiss

the tough guys muscular

like the American flag

down here everyone is

a winner

Jesus is never a sinner

and we all sit down for

eggs & ham

at dnner
