Broken bones heal stronger.

Maybe if I say that enough it will become true

I let you in
You pushed me out
But not before taking everything out of me

You left me broken
Aching
Raw
Salty tears stinging the wounds inside me

My heart crumbles under the weight
Collapsing in on itself
All because of you

Still I will take these bits of myself
Mourning the loss of who I was
I will build myself up
Now calloused from your words

Stronger than before
Full but not yet whole
I open myself up
For someone to tear me down again
