That one day, we will have a house,

From where we can hear the sea

Crash against the shore

In the silent night

And in the morning we could walk,

Hand in hand

Yhrough the dew adorned grass

To watch our children play and dance

Running from the waves

As they try and fail to catch them.

Then return home to warm ourselves,

Silently,

As the children sleep.

Entwined in a sinful embrace,

Lost in the safety and comfort of each other’s arms

Until you whisper those sweet words in my ear

As we collapse against each other.

And in the bible Black Country night

confess to each other

That we have never loved more truly or deeply.
