Again, I don't believe in giving away anything about poems, it should speak for itself again.

Shoe Store

Row upon row
of shoes
manufactured
by Asian youngsters
who scratch a living
from western longings
for cheap footwear,
so easily discarded
as fashions fade
constantly.
An extremely
clever marriage of
design and technology;
intended to have consumers
part gladly with their
hard earned cash.
Thus maintaining
the flow of capital
necessary to enable
an affluent lifestyle
and, taking everything
for granted.
Always devoid of caring
about those Asians
toiling under hot
tin roofs, who
long for a better future
that looms on a
smog laden horizon.
