These mercury rings

are a beam of tear drops shed,

there's a window of solar panel

that has left the broken for dead.

Failure gleamed

in a night too bright ,

Two hearts had never

risen from a fight.

Anger and love never conversed

my world aligned

with a new universe.

Adopted all my stars ,

stole away the speeding starlight

away from my heart.

Travel north through the gray haze

Over the spill of the milky way ,

there stands a time that I would spend

lying with her on the dipper's bend.

I fixed the strings on her father's bow

and tuned the sound of his harp of gold .

The space was large

in our sky and hearts

we populated the beyond

with little stars .

Yet, anger and love never would converse

my world aligned

with a new universe.

I suppose the more things change,

the more they will never be the same.

Failure gleamed

in a night too bright ,

Two hearts had never

risen from a fight

who is this stranger

who is living my life.. ?
