Defining your love...

Your love cannot be fought
sure the battle is rough
anything worth having should be
I’d have nothing except your decree.

Your love cannot be beyond
sweeps of changes I nod
your indifference to our difference
the world’s judgment a nuisance.

Your love cannot be measured
yet experienced best at my leisure
leaves me sinking in deep
so sweet and consuming me.

Your love cannot be
this good despite what I believe
a past heartbreak at your hand should
know your love’s so misunderstood.

Your love cannot be
Your love cannot be
But it is…
perfect just like this.

I’m surprised that you somehow snuck this one by me & I hadn’t seen it before! Again, as always, you deliver excellence!

That does happen from time to time. I do not really post much here as you know but when something does tickle my fancy I have to post it. Thanks for the read and encouraging commentary.
