RIDING THE BUS By Chris Eugene Clarkson

My mother and I love to ride the bus. We ride the bus because it saves money for gasoline in the car. My mother rides the bus to work. I ride the school bus to school where I learn my lessons. We
go on the bus to the library to check out books, compact discs, and DVDs. We go on the bus to the grocery store to buy food for our family to eat. We ride the bus to church. We go on the bus to the
zoo to look at all the different animals. We go on the bus to the movie theater. We go on the bus to the bowling alley. We go on the bus to football, hockey, basketball, soccer, and baseball games
to cheer on the teams. We go to the amusement park and the fairgrounds to ride the rides on the ferris wheel, the go carts, the merry go round, and the roller coaster. We go on the bus to the bank
to put money in our checking and savings accounts. The bus takes us to the shopping mall to buy what we need and want. We ride the bus to the swimming pool and to the park to swing on the swings,
slide down the slides, and have cookouts. We ride the bus to the speedway to watch the race cars compete against each other. We ride the bus to the art gallery and look at all the interesting
paintings that are on display. We ride the bus to the restaurant to order delicious food. We ride the bus to just about everywhere we want to go except the farm. The farm is too far for the bus to
go there!
