The Toronto Blue Jays are back on track, defeating the Minnesota Twins last night 7-5.

It was the Jay's second straight win.

The Jays went up 2-0 at the top of the second inning.

Up 3-0 at the top of the fourth inning, Justin Smoak hit a two run homer to make it 5-0 Jays.

It seemed as if Toronto had this game under their control.

The Twins, however, had other plans.

Down 6-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Eduardo Escobar hit a two run homer to make it 6-3.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Robbie Grossman made it 6-4 by scoring on a routine ground out by Mitch Garver.

Max Kepler close the gap at 6-5 in the bottom of the seventh inning, driving in Joe Mauer with a RBI double.

Thankfully, the Blue Jays scored a reasurring run at the top of the ninth inning.

Toronto's starting pitcher, Aaron Sanchez, gave up six hits, four earned runs, and struck out two batters in six innings pitched.

Twin's starter, Lance Lynn, gave up seven hits, six earned runs, and struck out four batters in five innings pitched.

Game Two is tonight.
