Kendrys Morales went three for three last night.

 

The Toronto Blue Jays won their third straight game 7-4 last night over the Minnesota Twins, thanks to a three run 10th inning.

Minnesota opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning when Joe Mauer hit a solo home run.

Eddie Rosario made it 2-0 for the Twins later in the inning when he drove in Max Kepler with a RBI double.

There was no scoring until the fifth inning.

At the top of the fifth inning, Toronto tied the game 2-2.

First, Kendrys Morales hit a solo home run.  Then, Justin Smoak drove in Luke Maile with a RBI single.

The Blue Jays went ahead 3-2 at the top of the sixth inning when Morales hit his second solo home run of the game.

The Twins, however, went ahead again in the bottom of the sixth inning when Rosario hit a two run homer.

At the top of the eighth inning, Smoak scored on a sacrifice fly by Kevin Pillar to tie the game 4-4.

At the top of the 10th inning, both Pillar and Maile scored on a wild pitch.

Also in the 10th, Gift Ngoepe scored on an infield single by Aledmys Diaz.

Morales went three for three at the plate and collected two RBIs.

Rosario went two for four at the plate last night and collected three RBIs.

Toronto's starting pitcher, Marco Estrada, gave up seven hits, three earned runs, and struck out three batters in five innings pitched.

Twin's starter, Kyle Gibson, gave up five hits, two earned runs, and struck out six batters in five innings pitched.
