Dedicated to Matt and Muse,

but most of all to Mike.

A-Muse-Ment

Mind is somewhat distracted,

returning straight to you;

does not want to dwell on anything

that will impinge upon the view.

Becoming somewhat mesmerized,

your picture in my head,

random thoughts are charging through

going where they’re led.

My eyes, they gaze towards you,

and it’s like all else isn’t there;

a kind of concentration

that simply permeates the air.

You’ll bring to me some ideas

and the words they soon will flow,

my muses are all permanent

and never will they go.

Sometimes the inspiration

might take a while to brew;

it will never go and leave me now,

not since I have found you.
