I know how you feel
 
But please listen to me
 
These are the emotions that I tried to conceal
 
But alas, now I want you to see
 
 
 
That there is none to care
 
Or think about me like you do
 
None to fight or scare
 
Or to make amends when the fault’s mine too
 
 
 
None to tell me stories
 
None to respect my space
 
None to appreciate even the tiniest glories
 
None to see things hidden behind my face
 
 
 
Maybe (as you claim) someone might be there
 
But he can never become you
 
I expect a little bit of me and you in him somewhere
 
But such a person can never exist, 'tis true
 
 
 
For all these reasons above
 
And for my wavelength that none seem to share
 
I will have only you to love
 
For what this world should think, I don’t care
