Bristles of the Artist

A tale of an artist,

Went by many names.

Knew her as Karina,

Put other doodlers to shame.

Kk is the first part,

A nice little greeting,

Into the art.

Tricky is as tricky does,

And perspective portraits?

Just ‘cause.

A stick goes forward,

Never bending its will.

From the tip to the bristle,

The inspiration spills.

Whatever it takes to create,

To make or break that moment,

The still life of bestowment.

Abstract in thought,

Always was that way.

I never knew it different,

The images never swayed.

Walked that long road,

Instinct on the drop of a dime.

Hope you don’t mind if I say it,

One last time.

The artist will face many,

And will accomplish much.

But those little things the artist did,

Could be someone else’s crutch.
