Aiming down the sights, I’m in your crosshairs,

Take aim at my heart, and blow it to pieces.

Everytime you told me you loved me, it was a lie,

I don’t know who you are now, you’ve got a different face.

Lured me in with those chocolate eyes,

Dark Magician Girl, put your spell on me.

I was vulnerable, and you took advantage of that,

Silver tongue skilled in doublespeak, you’re a diplomat.

Rearranged my brain, like my antidepressants,

You made me addicted from the very first taste.

Vivisection without painkillers, tore my beating heart out,

Fragmented soul and a broken body, begin to waste.

Can I live on my own, truth is I don’t know,

You’ve been apart of my life for so long.

Separation never felt so painful, this time’s different,

Can’t keep up with these changes, life’s allegro.

Held me close in my darkest moments,

Lulled me to sleep during hurricane force winds.

Snapped me back to reality, when I lost my focus,

Can’t make a whole person, with two broken minds.

I start crack, fall apart and turn, to dust,

The summer breeze, whisks me away to the next life.

The sight of you, used to make my heart combust,

And now your face is always haunting me, in my dreams.

These nights are so silent, you can hear a pin drop,

I keep hearing your voice, through the white noise.

I search for you, but there’s no one there at all,

Antidepressants aren’t working, can’t keep my poise.

Aiming down the sights, I’m in your crosshairs,

Take aim at my heart, and blow it to pieces.

Everytime you told me you loved me, it was a lie,

I don’t know who you are now, you’ve got a different face.
