In this Age all around the planet people are loyal followers of commercialism. They give in to any whim of the media and worship idols that have little talent. While the esteemed authorities of our Age such as the New York Times or the London Guardian praise anything of horror or terror, and such a great institution as the Nobel Prize committee and judges hide in the shaddows of anything retrospective, an honest intellectual who provides contemporary comment is ignored like the plague. It is high time honest voices were heard in literature and everyday life. If we have hope that honesty and truth can rule the day we are scorned. If we give in to every current trend however how shocking we are heralded as the next big thing. When will there be justice in this world? That is the question that intellectuals have asked throughout the Ages. Maybe our time has come!
