I looked at him and noticed how he couldn’t bring himself to look in my direction. I heard my phone ringing and saw it was Ashely.

“I love him, you know. Of course, I’ll drink poison before soberly admitting it.” We had been friends for so long that ‘hello’ was not used anymore.

“Hon are you sober now?” Ashely asked me, concern littering her voice.

“You know me, I haven’t been sober in months. I’m hung over at work, but as soon as I get home, my friends have lines set up and I have a bottle in my hand” I can’t help but laugh as I respond.

She knows that she is the only person I respond to anymore and the only person I’m completely honest with. She knows all this started because of a boy who I fell in love with. He is 6 foot 3, a smirk that brought me to my knees, dark brown hair, and the ability to make do anything he asked. When he sang, which he didn’t do often, his voice stops me dead in my tracks. As you can tell I thought the world of Sheamus, but I found out some of his darker secrets, like drugs, the drinking and how I was basically just another girl to him.

But he could just say things and make promises, promises that he will treat me like a queen, promises that he loves me, promises that sometimes he can’t keep.
