It is a poem about the ever present emotion of love in humans but unfortunately we are slowly losing this divine trait in us, which is being replaced by other negative emotions. The negative
emotions have overpowered us to the extent that we appear to have killed empowering emotion of love in us.

It is there in plenty with us……

We are incidentally unaware of it;

And behave as if we are pauper!

It is there in plenty with us……

We receive it from our kin and kith;

And become so unappreciative!

It is there in plenty with us……

We have replaced it with callousness;

And have become expert in histrionics!

It is there in plenty with us……

We have replaced it with hatred;

And have become rancorous!

It is there in plenty with us……

We mock when someone shows;

And think one is out of one’s senses!

It is there in plenty with us……

We have killed it;

And become ruthless!

It is there in plenty with us……

We have it crop up sometimes in us;

And it makes us feel happy!

It is there in plenty with us……

Alas! We could have succeded to kill it,

And made it disappear but it is infinite!

It is there in plenty with us……….Love
