Tetch is a pirate. But, in this world, pirates are protectors. Pirates have dedicated their lives to pirating and pillaging shadow ships of the seas, fighting darkness that lurks in the depths, and
standing in the way of the evil force that bends it all to its will. For as long as anyone could remember, pirates were at the forefront of this war with Aether, the creator and wielder of all
darkness.

Tetch grew up at sea fighting these dark forces, and couldn't imagine his life any other way. Despite being just a scrawny kid with a twisted memory of his losses in his past, he holds a power that
no one else does. He's a skilled fighter even without this otherworldly ability, but his near overwhelming power could bring about the end of the seemingly never-ending war against darkness. If
only he knew how to use it the right way.

As he begins to realize that "knowledge is power", he learns that it all is much more than it seems. And maybe, his power could save more worlds than one.
