Crazy talk; crazy mind,

To think this way, I am inclined.

Counting carbs; counting fat,

And now I’m also good at that.

I measure waist; I measure height,

The mirror says it’s still not quite.

What’s perfection; what’s ideal?

Hunger is the only thing I feel.

Trim this stomach, I wish I could,

Along with scars of motherhood.

But all is pointless; I’m aware,

I’ll never be beyond compare.

This is crazy; this is hell!

This is toxic is what I yell.

But I can’t stop; can’t close this book,

Can a surgeon change the way I look?
