Sail Away

Sit on the beach,

right by the sea,

my back to the waves

that are beckoning me.

This boat is too small,

won’t fit me inside,

it can’t carry me

away with the tide.

Raindrops and sunshine,

a magic rainbow;

what I should do

I suddenly know.

I’ll fill it with dreams

and I’ll fill it with wishes;

then I’ll entrust it

to all of the fishes.

I’ll set it to sail

far across that sea,

and deliver to you

those pieces of me.
