ODE TO SEMEN

By Michael Dale Sipes, Jr.

As a young teen, I anticipated your coming

first, you were no more than a drop of something.

Over time you grew and so did my curiosity

For you would come and go with great velocity.

On the floor or a clean shirt, you cared not

I spread hot white pearls without thought.

I admired your courage for at first I was afraid

secretly enjoying the pleasure you always conveyed

Now a man you always come in full force

Shooting white hot streams like a horse

Afraid no longer I envied your lifestyle

every time I felt you build inside I would smile.

Shooting jets of white warmth everywhere

years have gone by but you are still there.

Now you are nothing but a nuisance

a mess turning cold, white to translucence.

Your presence has been with me a long time

annoying yet inviting I ache for your pastime

I worry not where you are or where you go

for I know you will return again tomorrow.
