Let’s wallow like the elephants,

rake up lots of dirt,

after all, where is the harm

for no one will get hurt.

Let’s get down-right dirty,

give it a good stir,

it doesn’t take so very much

for the truth to blur.

Let’s roll around and kick it up

for some of it will stick;

getting careful aim with it --

that’s the final trick.

Believe it or believe it not,

I really do not care;

those with the biggest pile of muck

will plant suspicions there.

Now, this poem, is quite fitting for this picture, if I must say.

Love and Hugs,

You know, the funny thing is it was never meant as a picture prompt but was really about people that like to smear other people's reputations with whatever dirt they can find.
Then again, reading through it, I can see it kind of goes with the picture too.
Thanks for reading, Kemy.

Your poem makes a very good point Hull, I try hard not to gossip, but at times I let myself get as dirty as your elephants...Tom...

Ha! Thanks, Tom. I guess it's something that everyone does to some extent but some seem to make a really good living from it!

A fun poem with a real message. I hope the crone isn't giving you problems again, Hully!

Nope....mutual blocking works wonders. The picture just got me thinking about how much wallowing and flinging of dirt is going on in the human world right now. Thanks for giving it a read!
