A short poem for my first post. Don’t really know why I wrote it or what I had in mind when I started it.

Silken stars

In cloth black veil

Cloaked in mist

Faith spawned eternal.

Tear born from starred eye

Over sleek neck does fall

Past jewelled breast does run.

With wings pained spread.

Take flight forward

Over cliffed edge.

Partake in pandemonium

Fallen far.

Burn bright

Burn out.

Turn from lights fate

Bejewelled beauty

Faint echo of past.

Rebel renegade

No more of grace

Let it end.
