I was driving home from work late one night it was around midnight. I just made my exit off of the highway and went down a side street. I had noticed the same car was following me for a while now.
I couldn't tell what kind of car it was but all I knew was they hadnin there high beams and were getting closer. I decided to pull off the road just in case and I pulled into a restraint parking lot that was open 24/7 for truckers. I saw the car enter the parking lot, I turned my car off to stay hidden.
I watched as the car drove past me and was looking for me in every direction in the parking lot. I was sitting in complete darkness when I heard the sound of a gun and a mans voice saying "don't do anything stupid I won't hurt you as long as you do not cause any attention let them leave." For the first time I saw the car that was following me was a police car. The police must have seen this man sneak into my car while I was working.
I jut froze for a few seconds and said "ok No problem." After a few minutes the police car drove off. The man with the gun quickly got in the front seat I saw a briefcase in his hand. He told me he had robbed a bank and needed a quick escape and my car was close.
He demanded me to get out of the car that he was going to leave now and if I didn't comply with him he would shoot me. He took my cellphone and wallet before leaving me in the parking lot to assure I wouldn't tell anyone. After I saw him drive away, I ran into the restraint and told the first worker I saw who called the police.
The police showed up at the restraint, I told them what the man said and did and what car I drove. One of the officers took me home and on the ride he told me he saw the guy run into your car and the reason he had his high beams on was so the man would be blinded and not hurt you or anyone.
The next day came and my car was in the parking lot but the bank robber was still at large. I had promised not to call the police to the man but I did anyway and now he was out there somewhere..plotting revenge against me...perhaps?..."
