" Ughh...are we there yet?" Questioned Marcos. It had been a seven hour drive, and Marcos was getting sick of the Old Country radio station. " Turn left onto West Creek Road, and your destination will be on the right." came Siri's anoying robot voice. The car rumbled to a stop. As the Baker family got out of the car, an icy breeze slapped them in the face... or was it the breeze? It almost felt as if the wind had a mind of its own.

The Baker family huddled up and moved to the closest building. Inside, they were overcome by the smell of aged beer, rotting wood, and dust. They walked up to the bartender. "Is there anything I can get you?" she asked. "Umm... well, we need to know how to get to our new house." " What is the address?" " Walkingson street NE." answered Marcos' step mom.

The bartender's eyes drifted to the locket on Marcos' neck. " Would you mind if I saw what is In that locket?" She asked. " OK," he said he opened up the locket, and showed her a picture of his real mom. "What happened to her?" She asked. " She was taking a walk in the forest, and never came back!" "Anyway, we should be on our way..." Interrupted his step mom. If they had stayed just two minutes longer, they would have seen the bartender's beautiful green eyes... go black as coals!

When the Baker family got to their house, they found the key under a black smooth rock, by the mailbox. Marcos tried to ignore the fact that the key head was in the shape of a skull. Suddenly a rock flew out of nowhere, and knocked the key out of Marcos' hand. It was like something didn't want him to be here. He slowly bent down and grabbed the key. He didn't know it then... but he would regret picking it up again for the rest of his life.

He felt something on the back of the key. He turned it over and read out loud. It said one word...

" RUN."

Thunder sounded, and fog drifted over the town.
